Mickey is a mixed race Asian-American Writer/Director who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Born in San Mateo, California, Mickey graduated from the University of Southern California Cinema Television school and has been working in the industry for over a decade. He is best known for his work with brands such as Pepsi, Intel, GSN, HGTV, FOX, ABC, Kia, Wizards of The Coast, Riot Games, Dish, Activision, and Playstation as well as music artists like LMFAO, Cee Lo Green, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lil Jon, Soulja Boy, Rebel Wilson, Tyga, Bella Thorne, The Offspring, Far East Movement, and Dada Life. Mickey’s success as a director has garnered attention from fans around the globe, leading to video nominations from The People’s Choice Awards, MTV VMA’s, NRJ Awards, American Music Awards and The Much Music Awards. His commercial spots have also won awards, including a Promax for Best Commercial Campaign and an EMMY in 2018. His work has been featured on MTV, BET, VH1, FUSE, and E! numerous times, and his collected works on YouTube have amassed over 3 billion views. Mickey is currently developing his first Animated Series and is an avid vintage comic collector.
